You guys know I'm a huge advocate of denim. Like huge. And now that the sweltering humid summer season in Nashville is over, denim season is here till it's sweltering again next May/June. And when you find jeans that are magic, you buy. Case in point, these. And after browsing Rag and Bone during naptime yesterday I found these are on sale and that means it's your lucky day.
Because I'm not entirely back to my pre-baby weight, and these jeans are magic.
And when magic happens, go with it, or in other words, buy the jeans.
Here's the thing. I had twins. I also had a daughter before that. But the twins changed my body. I mean, I had 2 human lives growing inside my body for 9 months, and they were both born close to 6 and 7 pounds respectively. That does a doozy to your body. A frickin' doozy. And I'm ok with it, most days. But when I slip into something that makes me feel like I didn't give birth to twins and I look a little like my old self, I get all happy inside and my visa does the happy swipe.
Dressing up these days means I don't put on leggings. If I'm seen in a skirt or dress, it's a GNO or a funeral. Ok, maybe that's too dramatic. None the less, this is my sunday's best-ish. Also known as my uni. Plus I snagged this Paige denim jacket at Marshalls for under 40 bucks and that deserves a heads up to the people.
