HEY MOM, IS SANTA REAL?

She came home and walked in the house and directly looked me in the eye. I was caught a little off guard. She looked at me intently and had fervor in her voice when she asked me, “Is Santa real? I know he’s not real. Olive told me on the way home. from school.” Gasp. Gulp. Give me a damn class of wine. WTF. My 8 and a half year old just shot a dagger through my heart and I have a choice. I can lie and carry on. Or I can look her in the eye and tell the truth. Here’s what happened.

BLACK FRI-YAY | DON'T LEAVE YOUR COUCH DAY |

I’m not the walk in the store black friday type. Not anymore. Unless it’s 8 am at Fashion Island in Newport Beach but I missed that window due to mucho Casa Migos last night. So thankful. But really, cyber space is the only place I’ll likely be today to finish any shopping for the year and for finishing up that gift giving. So here’s my picks and I’ll be updating for cyber Monday. Y’all know how I feel about a sale. I can’t stand to pay full price, so if you’re anything like me, have a look below and enjoy the sales. From my favorite sheets, to coffee maker, to denim, to flannels and  kids gifts, Happy thanksgiving and happy sales y’all. Love you mean it.

DECK THE HALLS + MY CLOSET

What’s on your wishlist?

After the longest week in history, I have finally cuddled up on the couch next to my babies, talked about their wish list, I have scrolled every inch of the Barneys sale (because they are closing and it’s so sad), but good sales, mean great gifts. I’ve also browsed my favorite brands for all of us. For him, for them, for the teachers, the bus driver, the best friend and everyone else you can think of. I’ve also taken inventory of everything I might want if I treated myself. And I think I will. (I think I already did. oops.) This is by no means a gift guide you must follow, but rather an idea list. And a good one to boot. But it never hurts to fall in love with something while browsing. Hope it’s helpful. Happy shopping friends!
