SPRING THING

I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. It's my uni. It just feels good, all day everyday. Getting into a dress these days is more about a special occasion than anything. It takes some effort. But this springy thing is actually improving my mood and here's why.
Wearing a dress is very freeing. These days, to me, it's kind of like running around Vegas with tan legs and a cocktail in your hand. It's freedom. And when you wear a white dress, you just feel lighter, happier, and for me, prettier. (Also, side note, a spray tan helps, or at least for me this weekend it does.) And with the weather getting better, it's encouraging me to move my body a bit more, get back on clean eating because that makes me feel better about my body and hence, pretty in a dress. And when you feel pretty, your mood is happy. On fire. True story. So, say yes to the dress.

And because I"m a mom and it takes more effort these days, it's important to change it up. I honestly just feel more like a girl in this little number, so I've been rounding up some of my favorite springy things and a pretty white dress is at the top of my list. I also have to say, the LBD has always been an important staple in my closet, but the LWD has it's own section in there too now. White brings the glow to my face especially in spring and summer and you just can't go wrong with something that makes you feel fresh and pretty. And young. Key word, young.
Here'a a few of my favorites from the above designer roe + may and one that's not so white, but super cute and hard to resist for summer.
And a few more below that have me scheming spring picnics at the vineyard and date nights with the husband sipping mojitos on a summer night.
White. Innocent. Clean. Fresh. This is probably why I wear it all the time. It's my summer staple. And as much as I'm in leggings, it's worth a purchase. And it's also worth me not finishing this muffin I"m currently eating, and stuff some fruit in my face instead. Summer is here in like 5 minutes.
