TARGET IS ACTUALLY FOR THE WIN
I'm a mom so, yes Target. I'm a girl so obviously yes, Target. But when they sell chic little sheer blouses like this + coffee too, duh, it's like romantic walks down the aisles and I've spent $150. But not on nothing.
Target actually is for the win and here's a few reasons why.
Because Target goes well with all brands. Well, for me anyway. I might splurge once in a while on some denim like these cutoffs below, or some boots or a handbag, but if I find a hat (see above) or a tote at Target that goes with it, there's no reason to not get it and instead buy a designer hat for 5 times the price. That's just silly. (Unless it's a must have and you have the means to spend). Also, buying plates and hats and sippy cups in one stop, is life for this mom right here.
Because fashion + beauty doesn't have to be spendy to be fashionable and beautiful. If you find something you love at Target, chances are, it's probably fashionable. I spoke about this last week about buying what you love...what makes you feel good. Target actually has these things. Like my lip butter I'm wearing below? 5 bucks. And remember this camisole I posted a few weeks back? Target, you are in fact making me blush. Why do you think there are so many mother memes out there about spending all of our time and money at Target?
Because Target has always been cute and fashionable, but now, there are top designers bringing lines to Target. That means you don't have to pay high dollar for Victoria Beckham! Yep, she's bringing her line to Target next month. Are you excited?
Meanwhile, there are lines like whowhatwear you see above in the sheer blouse and the pink camisole for under $20-40. Date night stuff. Paired with your favorite jeans and leather jacket and it's kind of a no brainer.
Because it's on trend: For home, for fashion, for baby. Basically my whole universe. When I go in for diapers, somehow pillows or lamps or side tables magically appear in my cart. Or a mirror. Ever go in for toothpaste and come out with a mirror, this marble and brass lamp, (I die), a frame, a bowl, a pillow and no toothpaste? Yep. Me too.
And because online Target is just as fun. I'm more of a shop in person kind of girl. I just am. But lately with sick toddlers and limited help this week, I may have browsed a bit last night and found a few too many things I liked. Browsing with a cart and coffee is more fun for me personally, and what takes the cake, is after buying a bathing suit in one section, you can then find the avocados. And the corona. And the tortilla chips. It's like magic.
I hope you'll take an hour sometime soon and browse Target. And if you don't, I will, and I'll buy all the things I probably don't need. But there's a good return policy so there's that. See? Target is actually for the win.
