UPDATE.

Hi friends. So it’s another week in the year 2021 and well, it continues to be a wild wild adventure. I swear I’ve lived 9 lives just since March of 2020. And maybe I have. But today feels different. Maybe it’s the rain, or the cooler temps, but it definitely feels like change is on the way. And I like change. Clearly.

As y’all know, earlier this year, I took a deep dive into my love of real estate and decided to invest my creative energy into the actual field. And here I am, in the deep end, actually treading water fairly well. And the swells are no joke, nor are the currents of this crazy market.

Nashville is growing y’all.

I arrived in late 2006, to a honkey tonk town I didn’t think I could live in. It was a far stretch from West Hollywood and honestly I couldn’t find a Starbucks anywhere near my first rental. Cue to 2007 when I purchased my first piece of real estate in Nashville in Green Hills, and things started looking up.

Almost 15 years later, I don’t see myself ever moving back to California. Not because of any reason other than, I LOVE MY HOME HERE. (Also I met my husband here and had my 3 babies here so there’s that.)

Yes I miss my family. They are the real reason I miss home.

But Nashville is home.

I moved here not knowing anyone.

I had one phone number of one piano player. That’s it.

But once I dipped my toes in the Nashville creative community, I was hooked. And I made friends. And honestly, that’s where my 30’s began.

Today, in October of 2021, Nashville is thriving more than ever. It’s vast and it’s creative. It’s beautiful. And it’s booming. And it’s home.
