All in MOM STYLE

THE DAY YOU BECOME A MOTHER

You might be a mother. Or you might be preparing to be a mother.  Either way you're there or you're very close. And although every story is different, built from beautiful diverse love stories and or unusual circumstance, the intertwined common thread we all share here, is the day you become a mother is unlike any other day you will ever have in your lifetime. And it's inexplicable. You can't write the right words. They don't run off your tongue like a prosed poet. You're baffled, confused and short of breath. Because it doesn't make sense how a tiny innocent child can make all your dreams come true. But, yet she does. And here's why.

SUMMER FACE

It's summer. I've had a bunch of questions about my current routine for face, and so I'm breaking it down here. And here it is...this is my summer face. I'm pretty pale for me, but I keep it that way on purpose, because I'd like to keep my summer face for as long as I can have it. Because I'm no baby. And this mama wants to save face forever, or die trying. (Wish me luck as I'm currently wandering the streets of Laguna Beach today). I talked last month about protecting face with a hat and sunscreen etc, but this summer,  even more so,  I'm not ignoring daily products, in fact, I'm upping the ante. Because summer is just as harsh as winter on your skin if not more because of that hot sun, and because our kids want to be outside all day long, and that means extra attention to self care, aka, you and your face.

SUMMER OF SEVENTEEN

My daughter is going to be 6 soon. And although I hear about fancy camps and European vacations and they all sound lovely, I think I’m joining the kids club this summer. And that means my butt will be permanently sitting next to my rugrats. This sounds intimidating, because I have so much work to do and I feel there’s simply never enough time. But here’s the thing. My little first born is going to be 6, my twin sons are going to be 2 and I don’t care if I get chiggers all over my body this summer, I’m joining the kids club and we’re calling it summer of seventeen.
