BOOB TALK

BOOB TALK

Well, let's just get real for one minute. Sometimes I want new boobs. Sometimes I love my boobs. Sometimes I don't want them at all. I nursed all my babies. And I have 3.

Boobs change throughout pregnancy. Their shape, their elasticity, their everything. For example, I loved being pregnant and my boobs were a bonus. They were huge, like exotic dancer huge. I danced around that first pregnancy like a boss. Then I had twins. Same story, different ending. By different I mean the boobies definitely were mad. And they are bouncing back slightly and slowly, but they may never be the same. Sigh. Us moms are so lucky! Well, we actually are lucky for real but sometimes you just want your old body back. But the older I get, the more at peace I'm with my body and mind you, my body doesn't suck. For starters, it's healthy and thriving, so that's one reason to shut up. Second, buying a new bra can change the way you like your boobies.

They say you should change your bra every year or so because it stretches and after it stretches it doesn't hold you up as well. Not even kidding, I was wearing a bra yesterday that I bought in Italy 12 years ago. The Italians rule! Well not if your boobs hang out or hang low. If the straps are stretched to the max, pretty sure it's done. (Side note, Italian bras and Italian everything are gorgeous but after 12 years it might be time to toss.) (P.S., honey let's go to Italy soon!)

The Natori feather bra pictured here in color (bridal blush iron grey) is my favorite. My boobs are perfect in this bra. It's comfortable (size up a cup-the cups run small, so if you're a 32b, get a 32C), it's sexy and buy it now when it's on sale, ($40 instead of $68). Also this is my 4th Natori feather bra. I love this bra so much I have bought it 4 colors (I wait till it's on sale!)

Also, the MICRO-FIRM Neck & Decollete Rejuvenating Complex nourishes to help revitalize and rejuvenate the signs of aging skin on the neck and decollete. I purchased for my neck because necks age and age quickly, but my Doctor who recommended this product said to use it on my dècollete (lower neck/chest area) to keep that area ageless as well. It's a bit spendy, but it does work.

Bottom line, boob talk ain't over. Because age. Because aging. And hands down, if a new bra makes the boob talk more happy (I did a happy boob dance in the Nordstrom dressing room), then buy the damn thing. Especially on sale. K bye.
